While I am doing my job hunting in Singapore, I also take some time to go around. The motive is to get use to the environment here. But actually it is a vacation for me (grin). Well, we went shoping in Harbour Front Centre / Vivo City. Most of the shopping centres in Singapore have nice places for children to have fun. Outside of the building, there are fountain, pond, monument, horses and a lot entertainments for kids to splash, running, riding and screaming around. And this is first time I saw this cute pony. Kids will ride on top of it and it is manual not using battery. I saw my nephew have to keep standing up and sitting down to make the pony moves, just like a real way of riding a horse. Can’t stop laughing at him. After 5 mins, he gave up, too exhausted for him.

There is still time after we shop and eat. So, my cousin suggest we go to Sentosa. It is so convenient. There is a station in Vivo City, selling tickets to Sentosa. It only cost S$3 for adult/child. This ticket entitled us to go/back Sentosa by the monorail. Map is also provided. While we are in Sentosa, there are free shutter buses to bring us around, to the Siloso Beach, Underwater World, The Merlion, Fort Tours, Golf Club and a lot more. Sentosa has 3 beaches: Siloso Beach, Pahlawan Beach and Tanjong Beach. I only went to Siloso. There are a lot of young people on the beach doing their activities but not much in the sea. Maybe it is due to the ships and boats. Well, in Singapore you can see all those cargo ships everywhere in the ocean. Well, and I took a picture of the day before we left.

Yoo hoo~~ Here I am again. I’m back..!! Sorry for neglecting this blog for some time. I’m been busy settling down in Singapore and also been miserable in job hunting. But I am glad that I have fully support from my family, relatives and friends. They never give me pressure, never rush or push me around and even ask me to take my time.

I’ve started to get use to the lifestyle here. I still can’t differentiate the food here yet, cos my aunty cook almost everyday. The different now is I have to walk alot. Maybe this will help me cut down some of my fat. I’ve been doing baby sitting, cooking, haunting the library, shopping, and even went to Sentosa and Science Center. Will wait till I can go to Zoo and Bird Park. You see, visiting those places are some of the baby sitting job too, and I love this job in the meanwhile I got my permanent job.

Well, job hunting is not easy. You might sent loaded of applications and not even get any response. At least acknowledge me if they had received it or reject it. But it’s ok. I went to a few interviews and they are all very nice and friendly boss. It’s just that the post and the location is not as I wanted. I will continue my mission till I get the most suitable one. Working is part of my life. I hope to get a good one and work hard and work as long as I can.. just like WESO. I miss you guys there aloooooot. Everyone is like a part of my family too.

Now, get back to the story. After went to some interviews, I’ve learnt some new technologies. I’m really interest in it and start doing researches and studies. Also went to library to get some books to sharpened my skills while I sit at home waiting for calls. Haha, but not to forget to borrow some comics and fairy tales stories.
