I’ve been working in SG for about 2 weeks. My boss is young just like my ex boss. My colleagues are young too, much younger that my ex-colleagues in WESO. They are from 19-24. I’m the oldest among them. Well, they are very friendly and kind, compare to WESO team who are crazy and fun! They are very hardworking and nice to work with.
As for my job scope, it’s different now. I need to read all those enquiry emails, call the prospect customers, set an appointment, meet them and prepare quotation. Then try my best to close my sales and pass the requirements to designer / programmers and make sure I have to meet the timeline and requirements.
I’m still learning all the sales and management skills. Meeting customers is not as scary as I thought it would be. They are nice and easy to negotiate with. Some even give me some suggestion to improve myself like talking louder with more confidence. I even meet them while I went shopping during the weekend. But I have problem remembering their names for I meet customers almost everyday.
SG is a nice place, not as I heard from people saying SG people are rude. I think they are polite and helpful. Maybe I’m just lucky for not meeting any nasty people yet. But I still misses my friends in MY. Sometimes, while I’m walking in the street or stuck in MRT, I may see some people look like my friends. I miss those time we have gathering, shopping and gossiping. I also miss my crazy and fun ex-colleagues that makes me feel go to work everyday.
Life goes on. It’s just different path we’re walking. But we are still in the same jungle. One day, we will meet again and have the same old life again, together with new life. Wish all my friends healthy and happy always. Hope you miss me too (not so frequent lar).

Halo~ good that you finally settle down
Ya, we here too miss your noise and stories and those ‘cute act’, haha~ The team has been quite quiet without you and Jian. Anyway, wish you all the best to adapt yourself in new enviroment, can’t imagine you used to dislike meeting clients and handle sales, hehe~
